b. Wednesday, July 28, 1915 – d. Friday, Oct. 14, 1955

Our brother Louis Bourgoin was born in Hancock, Michigan in 1915.  After his freshman year at the college he joined the Order in 1936 and was solemnly professed in 1941. 

As a frat on the faculty of Southeast, he made beginning preparations for teaching printing at the high school, taking courses in type setting, acquiring type fonts, and building tables for layout and production.  He took courses at the Institute of Printing from 1941 until 1955. 

Besides his teaching duties, Louie was the baseball moderator at the school.  Blood clots in his leg caused his death on Friday, October 14, 1955. He was 39 years old.
