Our brother Thomas Bresson was
born in Nijmegan (NYE-may-gen), Holland
in 1865. He joined the Order at
Berne
Abbey in 1882, and was solemnly professed in 1887.
From 1890 though 1898, Thomas was a professor and the pastor in Heeswijk
(HEES-wick).
In 1899, Thomas immigrated to the
United States, joined the college faculty, and in 1900, was appointed sub-prior.
1903 was spent in
Manitoba,
Canada
.
In 1904 Tom was appointed pastor in
Essexville,
Michigan. Ill health prompted him to
relinquish his pastorate that same year and he died in 1905, at the age of 40.
