b. Saturday, Nov. 11, 1978 – d. Monday, Nov. 30, 1998

Our affiliate brother Jeffrey Cross was born in Sturgeon Bay , Wisconsin in 1978.  As a student, he lived at the abbey, participated in community life, and commuted to the college.  While going for his early morning exercise run Nov. 30  1998, on a foggy Monday morning, he was struck by a truck and killed instantly.  He was 20 years old.  Jeff’s parents donated several vital organs from his body for transplant so that others might live.
