Associate Josephine Crowell

b. Saturday, Mar. 21, 1914 – d. Friday, April 19, 1996

Our Associate Josephine Crowell was a founding member of the Norbertine Associates in 1986 and functioned as a lector and Eucharistic minister for abbey liturgies.  Jo and her husband Neil had been members of the “Cell” movement started by Fr. Ferdinand DuPont and were responsible for the beginnings of St. Catherine’s Bookshop in Green Bay .  Jo and Neil baked bread for the Eucharist and were actively involved in the training of new Associates.  Jo died on Friday, April 19th 1996, at the age of 82.
