Our brother
Henry Jafolla was born in
Philadelphia
in 1926. He was a student at
Southeast Catholic and spent two years at St. Norbert College in De Pere,
Wisconsin, before being vested in the Order
in 1946. He was professed in 1948 and
ordained in 1953.
After
ordination, he was assigned to Southeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania to teach courses in religion,
and made the move to Bishop Neumann in 1956, where he remained until 1963.
Henry spent from 1963 through 1967 at
Premontre High School in Green Bay, Wisconsin, before returned to
Neumann from 1967 until 1972.
From
1972 to 1974, he was the student chaplain at
LaSalle
College
in
Philadelphia, and from 1974 to 1976, an assistant at Blessed Sacrament Parish in
Harrisburg,
Pennsylvania.
Henry died
on
Sunday, May 16th,
1976 at the age of 49.
