Arthur was a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and an Associate of the abbey.  

His God-given vision of inclusion and the embracing of all peoples enabled him to help form a vibrant and rich community of diverse worshippers in his home parish of St. Thomas Aquinas in South Philadelphia.  

Arthur died on Thursday, September 28, 2006.
