b. Sunday, Mar. 15, 1885 – d. Friday, Dec. 20, 1940

Our brother Anthony Vissers was born in Green Bay in 1885. Upon graduation from St. Norbert High, he joined the Order in 1902 and was solemnly professed in 1907.

After teaching at the college, he was transferred to assist in Manistique, Michigan, before becoming pastor of Immaculate Conception in Oneida in 1910. While on his way to his rectory after having just finished mass on Friday, December 20^th, 1940, he died of a heart attack at the age of 55. He had spent his entire ministerial life in Oneida.
