b. Thursday, Oct. 26, 1911 – d. Saturday, Jan. 14, 1995 

Our brother Timothy Werner was born in Grass Valley , Wisconsin , in 1911.  After graduating from St. Norbert High School, he joined the Order in 1930 and was solemnly professed in 1935.

Tim’s teaching career was limited to three years at St. Norbert High School and Southeast Catholic.  Thereafter, he held pastoral assignments in Essexville, Michigan and Hingham, Chester, Cut Bank, Valier and Roundup, Montana, until his retirement at St. Norbert Abbey in 1985.  Tim’s worldwide stamp collection gives evidence of this quiet, gentle man’s love of nature and travel.  He died on Saturday, January 14^th, 1995 at the age of 83.
