History:

Originally created at Claymont, Delaware, by confreres from St. Norbert Abbey in DePere, Wisconsin, in 1932.  Later, Claymont was associated for some time with Daylesford Abbey.  Since 1997, however, it has been an independent Priory.  In 2004 the Priory was transferred to a new location on Bayview Road in Middletown, Delaware.
