History:
A priory attached to Averbode abbey, located due south of Brussels. Founded in 1416 as a Priory of the Augustinians Canons-Regular. From 1903 it has served as a refuge for Canons expelled from the Montis Dei Abbey in France. In 1922 it was elevated to the status of a self-governing house, as well as a daughter-house of Averbode. In 1957 it became a Priory, attached to Averbode. It contains the relics rescued from Prémontré.
