Monasticon Praemonstratense (I, 125)

Approximate modern location: Near Tauberbischofsheim, Baden. 

Elm-Number [See Below]: During its first iteration, a Parthenon.  Between 1562 and 1717 attached to the Diocese of Württemberg.  Restored as a Canonry in 1717.  A huge building program modernized the entire house in 1721.  Suppressed in 1803, and sold by civilian authority in 1838.  Its Abbey Church is now a parish church.
