Approximate modern location:  In southern Baden-Wurttemberg, 5 km from the border with Switzerland.  The town is surrounded on three sides by Switzerland, and there is only one road leading directly from Germany into Jestetten from the north.

Other Comments:  The buildings are now known as the "Obere Schloss" and were home to Premonstratensian Tertiary Sisters.
