Other Comments:  A priory established by Premonstratensians, later sold to the Carthusian Order.  The Carthusians were among the first persecuted by Henry VIII in his attempts to break with Rome, and St. Augustine Webster and other early martyrs of Henry VIII was from this Carthusian Foundation.
