Monasticon Praemonstratense (I, 112)

Approximate modern location: Sisters from Langenselbold came first to Rode; and then to Tiefenthal in Eltville-Martinsthal (west of Wiesbaden).  In 1237 the sisters changed Order affiliation to the Cistercians.

Other Comments:    After 1242, the Sisters of this house affiliated themselves with the Cistercian Order and the house was a Cistercian women's monastery until 1802.  Now it is a monastery of the "Dernbacher Schwestern" and "Bildungshaus".
