History:
Northwest of Jihlava, south of Humpolec, southeast of Prague. Founded on the site of a former Benedictine Abbey in 1149. The Abbey was devastated during the time of the Hussite heresy. In 1622 a part of the Abbey was recovered for the Order. The full Abbey was restored in 1643 as a self-governing Canonry.
