Approximate modern location: Switzerland, Bern Canton, to the east of Biele, at the Zihl river, by the village of Orpund.

Other Comments: Founded by Rudolph I between 1247 and 1255.  Daughter house of Bellelay.  Suppressed in 1528 by the Protestant Governor of Bern.  Almost all buildings still exist.  The small abbey church is still used as the local church.   Various private apartments/homes were the habitations of canons.  There is also a small, beautiful gothic Chapter House.
