Approximate modern location: Palestine, approximately 8 miles northwest of Jerusalem at Shiloh, near the tomb of the Old Testament Hebrew Judge Samuel.

Other Comments: This house was overrun in 1244 by the advance of resurgent moslem forces.  There was much loss of life, and the survivors fled north to the city of Acre, where the house of Acco / Akkon had been established.
